King & Parsons Knee Services
Arthritis Care
Your doctor may recommend surgery if your pain from arthritis causes disability and is not relieved with nonsurgical treatment. As with all surgeries, there are some risks and possible complications with different knee procedures.
Total Knee Replacement
We offer total knee systems that are best suited to each arthritic knee. The CONFORMIS and ATTUNE systems help to optimize the surgical outcome. Our focus is on giving patients a knee replacement that lasts 25 to 30 years with no pain.
Partial Knee Replacement
Conformis® Knee Replacement
Conformis® offers the only fully customized knee replacement implant available in the United States. Each implant is tailor made to replicate a patient’s individual anatomy, and thus, each implant is unique.
Arthroscopy
Knee arthroscopy is a surgical procedure that allows doctors to view the knee joint without making a large incision (cut) through the skin and other soft tissues. Arthroscopy is used to diagnose and treat a wide range of knee problems.
Robotics
It is intriguing to think that someday we may be replacing human joints using AI, Augmented Reality, and Robotics. For now, we have to wait for the merits of these technologies to prove their value in joint replacement.
Stem Cells
Unfortunately, despite years of trials, there is no evidence that PRP or Stem Cells do anything beneficial for joint arthritis. They are expensive and ineffective. BUYER BEWARE!
